In her mother's shoes...

Ellie occasionally tries to wear our shoes. Most of the time she puts on Daddy's slippers, or Mommy's flip flops (though she just puts her feet through the straps on the flip flops and wears them on her ankles most of the time). On Sunday, though, she decided to try on my church shoes. They were in the kitchen and I just love how these pictures turned out. The lighting seems to capture all of the wonder and excitement Ellie had as she put on dress shoes. She never did get them to stay on her feet, but she tried and tried and tried and it was all too precious.
