The Wickland Family

We spent Christmas Eve and Day with Leif's family in Roundup. It's been a few years since we spent Christmas with them - we usually head to Texas for this holiday. Since we went to Texas for Thanksgiving, though, we stayed in Montana this time around. The company at Grandpa's was a mixture of His family and Gayle's. This is the Wickland clan.

Fifth Anniversary!

Well, we've been married for 5 years as of December 16th. It's been a great 5 years and we celebrated by going to West Yellowstone, where we spent part of our honeymoon. We originally planned to take a snow coach into Yellowstone because it's so beautiful in winter. Unfortunately, Yellowstone didn't open for another few days, so we decided to learn how to cross-country ski instead. It was a lot of fun, though we learned that XC is different than downhill, especially when it comes to turning! Alpine skiing you lean to turn when going down a hill, but with Nordic if you lean to turn, you just fall over!
