While we were in Yellowstone recently, Ellie and I hiked to Wraith Falls. Elizabeth was happy to sit in the car and be nerdy while we trekked off to a waterfall of unknown repute. Along the way, Ellie explained to me that she was going to sit on a rock and I was going to take pictures of her. That was hard to argue with.
On the other hand, she didn't want to look at the camera while I took pictures, even though she was happy to sit unnaturally in what I assume she though was a suitable pose.
