Well, there goes my chance to wear my teenage daughter's clothes!

Eliana had her 2 year well child appointment today and, as we suspected, she's doing great! =D I forgot to write down the exact measurements for weight and height, and the nurse never told me what they were for head circumference, so I'll have to call one day and find those out. But I DO remember where she falls on the charts, so I can give you that information...

weight: 75th percentile
height: 90th percentile

Okay... there goes my chance to wear my teenage daughter's clothes! I am about the same height as my mother, who is about the same height as her mother. And we are NOT in the 90th percentile for height! So... here's to the next few years she will still look up to me! Because by the time she's 8 she'll pass me by!

In other news, today was day 3 with no nap, and it's going well. There are still meltdowns. But she's going to bed and sleeping and that is good. Last night she slept from 7:15 to 8:30 this morning. And she now climbs into bed with me and snuggles a little more when she gets up. I haven't gotten that sort of treatment in ... about a year! So it looks like no naps are a good thing. To celebrate I took the crib down. It's out of her room. She's a big girl now. Just a toddler bed for her.

OK, even if she is as tall as her daddy, that's still not, say, Josh Gee kinda crazy tall! Leif is just a little taller than me and I'm on the "tall" side of average for a girl. She'll be perfect, no matter what. Matt and I did a little Bozeman research and dreaming last night and I don't know how y'all afforded to buy a house!! The only thing in our price range was mobile homes and having grown up in one, they are off the table. Guess we'll have to stick to visiting until we complete Dave's plan for getting out of debt.

But she is so cute being tall! And so healthy! And by the time she's a teen ager you might not like the clothes she wears. By the way, if I lose the weight, I'll be wearing my 10 year old's son's t'shirts and sweats in two years! But they won't be cute girl clothes, now will they.

Glad she's healthy. Glad the no nap thing is working out. Hope I didn't offend her daddy with my comment about going to bed.

Yeah, but you'll be ale to inherit all of her 8 year old clothes... which might be a better deal. :-)

Hey, I'm wearing one of your hand me downs right now! It really is fun getting new, cute clothes from your daughter :-) Keep Ellie in cute boots and at some age you'll get to wear them! Mom

I used a growth percentiles calculator to reverse calculate the height and weight. They were probably 35.75 inches and 28.75 pounds.
