Christmas Recap

Okay... so now that we're almost a month and a half past Christmas, perhaps it's time to put up some pictures, eh?

We spent Christmas Eve day with Leif's family in Roundup, including his 104 year old great aunt Lillian.

Eliana chatted with her and helped her open her gifts.

Then we opened gifts with the family. Eliana got quite a few gifts, including a pretty dress from South America from Uncle Eric, and some toys, and a volcano science kit, and some markers / art supplies. We were all very blessed to get to spend some time with the Wickland family before heading home that afternoon.

The next morning was Christmas, and we had our own gift opening, followed by a big breakfast and a trip to the airport to fly to Texas! I think those pictures will have to be in another post, though, so this one doesn't get too long!

Ketchup

That's pretty much what we need on this blog. I have some serious catching up to do! I'm not sure I'll get things in order, but I suppose we'll start with Mother's Day since that's what's at the top of my Flickr photostream. =D

Mother's Day
We went to Billings and had lunch with Leif's family. There was lunch, there was dessert, there were gifts for Ellie (thus the things she's wearing and playing with in the pictures). And to save you 1,000+ words, here are the pictures:

MOR with Gramme and Grandad

One of the last times Leif's parents were here, they all went with Ellie to the Museum of the Rockies. I think I was attending some training for Mary Kay, so I missed the adventure. For those of you who missed the adventure, too, here are some pictures...

Ellie exploring the exhibits at the museum. Their current exhibits are on how toys work and different kinds of treehouses, which is perfect for little kids to enjoy! We have seen the exhibits several times and Ellie hasn't tired of it yet! In fact, she asks pretty much every day if we can go to the dinosaur museum because she loves it so much.

Eric and Terry's Birthday

Last Sunday while I was in Missoula, Leif and Eliana went out to Billings to celebrate Grandad's and Uncle Eric's birthday. As stated in my last post, we've had some unseasonably warm weather, and it was even warmer over in Billings! Warm enough for some frisbee in fact! Looks like the whole family joined in the fun...

Like father, like son... both born on January 19! (Leif's dad and brother, for those who don't know them)

Christmas in Roundup

Christmas is Roundup

We went to Roundup to have an early Christmas on the 21st. It was good to spend time with family and Eliana had a great time playing with some of her new gifts! Thanks Grammee and Grandad and Grandpa and Gayle and Eric for accommodating our schedule and celebrating early with us this year!

One week of Fall!

dsc_7873
Really, can it be that we only had ONE WEEK of fall this year??? A week ago we were at the pumpkin patch and it was in the upper 80's. Thursday night it started to snow and has been cold, windy, and snowy since. I'm not ready for winter yet! So because I refuse to believe that winter is officially here, let's just celebrate fall a little longer with some fall pictures of Ellie and Grandad down at the river recently....
